Winter Campaign
Our very first project was supporting the widows and the orphans, from among the refugees, both in Turkey and Syria, during winter. We covered the entire heating expenses for the families of 23 widows, who have sought refuge here in Turkey, for the whole of winter. Apart from that, we have provided heating for an educational facility that teaches 82 refugee orphan children here in Turkey On the other hand, we have also provided diesel for IDP families in refugee camps in the Turkish-Syrian border region. This is the fuel for the heater that keeps them and their families warm during the unbearable cold. We also provide heaters to families that cannot afford to have one during winter. Our team also distributes winter clothing and blankets to poor families. We have the capacity to support the needy in Yemen, Syria, and in Turkey.
